Service Technician

A Service Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This builds a strong factory dealer relationship and repeat customer loyalty.

Who do I work with? 
This position interacts daily with Customers, Service Advisors, other Technicians, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers. 

Daily responsibilities:

- Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to build Customer loyalty. 
- Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.  
- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer. 
- Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles. 
- Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order. 
- Daily review of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-offered training classes.
- Providing an exceptional customer experience 
What are the requirements for this job?

- High School diploma or equivalent 
- 2+ years' experience as an automotive technician 
- Automotive technical training  
- Attention to detail 
- Organization and follow-up skills 
- Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

Lot Attendant

The Lot Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the maintenance and service of vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:
o Assist with tagging of customer cars and trucks
o Remove vehicle protective coverings and Id tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
o Inspect the vehicle for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicles to the customer, and report any damages immediately
o Transport customers and dealership personal as needed
o Perform deliveries as required
o Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
o Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving unites as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
o Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant or secure key area 
o Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage
o Pick up parts from the Parts Department 
o Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive
o Maintain buildings and grounds as needed
o Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed
o Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Customer expectation, and Values in all interactions with customer, co-workers and suppliers
o Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
