Description:
South Coast Acura is currently seeking full-time and part-time cashiers.

As a Cashier you will receive payment for all sales and service items and play a key role in creating customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:
o Balance Repair Orders, vehicle deposits and cash (credit cards, checks, cash) daily.
o Receives cash checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
o Close or final all repair orders for which funds have been received in computer system.
o Use various dealership software programs for input and retrieval of information, such as determining the status of customer’s vehicles.
o Prepare deposit receipts for the sales staff for all new vehicle deposits, extended warranties, or various other outside sales.
o Keep filing current and available for the Service Advisors and/or Service Manager when the history of a vehicle is needed.
o Be aware of the various types of warranty work that is done, how it is charged, and what needs to be forwarded to the Warranty Administrator and in what form.
o Proof all repair orders for completeness and accuracy.
o Attend meetings and training as scheduled.
o Maintain cleanliness of dealership by picking up any trash observed and notifying custodian of any spills.
o Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
o Maintain professional, well groomed appearance.
o Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
o High school education or equivalent
